Donnerkogel fixed ropes course
Pure climbing pleasure!

The Intersport fixed ropes course on the Donnerkogel starts off comfortably above the Törleck peak. As soon as you approach the craggy peaks of the Kleiner (1919m) and Grosser Donnerkogel (2055m), the climb becomes a real challenge – even for experienced climbers!
Route: From the Gablonzer Hütte hut alongside the mountain station, the route climbs up 400 m of altitude to the summit cross on the Grosser Donnerkogel in 2 stages. The climb takes around 3 hours across steep faces ranging from a medium to difficult rating. The first section is adventurous but easier – and is therefore also a real pleasure for budding professional climbers.
The path was established by outdoor specialist Heli Putz and his team from Outdoor Leadership. You can also book climbing courses with Outdoor Leadership!
Use the right equipment!

You are in an Alpine region and should only set out on long walks if you have the right equipment! Always take an umbrella, mobile phone, sturdy footwear and a small emergency snack with you! Better safe than sorry!
Please only follow the fixed ropes course if you have experience of climbing (!!) and use the correct equipment!
