Small ski resort with great service!
The lovely skiing town of Russbach in the middle of the Salzburg section of the Dachstein West ski area offers you leisure opportunities which are plenty and varied, and also good-value. In just a few minutes you’ll find yourself on the ski piste, surrounded by the superb mountain panorama. A great deal of emphasis lies on hospitality in these cosy lodgings, and families with lots of children are very welcome!
Right at the valley station for the Hornbahn there is a shop for winter sport enthusiasts, with an expert service team and the latest winter products, such as carving skis, snowboards, winter sport clothing and a great deal more.
It’s all go in the ‘Bärencamp’ ski area with its magic carpet and button lift. Little (and of course big) beginners can learn how to ski in the valley using a total of 5 practice lifts. Beginners are looked after by delightful, experienced ski instructors from Russbach ski schools.
Dear Children,
Look forward to the ‘Bärenschuss’ course, the ‘Bären’ slalom and the big snow castle. And for the experts amongst you specially trained children’s ski instructors have exciting surprises in store for you, such as deep snow trips and a mogul piste ski rodeo!

So parents can go skiing without any worries, the club for children, the 'Spatzennest’ in Russbach, and its very qualified carers, are there to look after children from the age of one. This service is provided free of charge for guests from Russbach who are staying overnight!!!
