Sport and Ski hire BERTL "Rent a Ski" specialist sports shop – test skis
Right beside the Hotel "Sommerhof", just 500 metres before the entrance to the Hornspitz lift.
Key brands in skiing - Atomic, Salomon and Head. Skis and shoes can also be tested. If you hire skis or shoes and then decide to buy a new pair, you will be credited with up to 3 days of the hire fee!
Computer-aided polishing machines await in our workshops to get your skis ready for some perfect fun on the pistes. Bring in your skis in the evening, they’ll be ready by the morning - and off you go on the piste. We look forward to seeing you.

Tip: Make use of the ski depot!
For all of you who don’t fancy lugging skis about, at the valley stations in all three locations you have the opportunity to drop off your skis and equipment. In Gosau on the Hornspitz there are small lockers (for 1 €) where you can store smaller items of luggage such as rucksacks etc. and at the ski school in Gosau there are two lockable stands available for your skis. On the Zwieselalm there are lockable boxes (for 1 €) for skis and shoes. Additional further options available for groups - just ask our staff!
At the valley station in Russbach you can choose between boxes of varying sizes (for 1 to 2 Euro depending on size) and in Annaberg there are even 50 heated boxes available at the valley station for the Kopfbergbahn (for 1 € per day).
