Homemade cheese nack at Rottenhofhütte

The 'Kasroas with Betty' (guided hike) at the Zwieselalm starts with magnificent views of the Dachstein peak and the surrounding mountains. From Zwieselam you start your hike to Zwieselalmhöhe and continues you tour  Rottenhofhütte. Here different cheeses are made in summer from the fresh Alpine milk which you can try in the cheese tasting event.

  • Date: every Wednesday, from May to mid of October
  • Meeting point: valley station Gosaukammbahn
  • Time: 10:00 a.m.
  • Duration: 2.5 to 3 hours

The guided hike to the Rottenhofhütte on the Zwieselalm is an easy hike, even children from 4 years can attend.
