DACHSTEIN WEST – LOCATED CENTRAL AND EASY TO REACH

ARRIVAL BY PUBLIC BUS
Located in the southern corner of the Linz - Salzburg - Dachstein, isthe Dachstein West ski region is well connected to the federal road network and public transport. In the region Dachstein West, free ski buses take you from one place to another and local ski buses are also free or or particularly cheap for skiers and snowboarders. 

ARRIVAL BY PLAIN/CAR
The nearest international airports are Salzburg and Linz. It's about one hour from Salzburg and about two hours by car from Linz to the skiing fun in our region. Munich is about three, Vienna about four and Prague about six hours away by car.

Highway exists:

  • From the east you reach the Dachstein West ski region via the Westautobahn A1 junction Regau.
  • From north and west is the Tauernautobahn A10 exit Golling the easiest option, from the south also the Tauernautobahn A10 exit Eben.
