Those who want to conquer the peaks around the Dachstein with footwork even uphill, will find
Russbach into a new touring heaven from this winter.
A new route has been created in the Dachstein West ski region, which scores points with beautiful views and a groomed valley run.
In the new Atomic Backland Test centre, the models of the season can be tried out.
Once the skins are put on and skis are strapped on, the route takes you past the Hornhütte and over the top station Hornbahn cable car up to the free Hornspitz top (1.433 m). From there you have a magnificent panoramic view of the Dachstein, Gosaukamm and Donnerkogel.
At 3.6 kilometres in length and 630 metres in altitude, the uncomplicated, approximately one and a half hour
"Spritztour" also suitable for ambitious beginners.
