Competition information

1. Social media competitions

• The organizer of the competition on www.facebook.com/dachsteinwest  and/or www.instagram.com/dachsteinwest  is the ARGE Dachstein West clearinghouse GesBR, Gosauseestrasse 52, 4824 Gosau - hereinafter referred to as “ARGE DW”.

• The deadline for participation is stated in the competition posting.

• Participation is free of charge and does not require a purchase obligation.

• The competition is not affiliated with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or organized by Meta. The recipient of the information provided is not Meta Platforms Ireland Limited but ARGE DW.

• By participating in the competition, the participant accepts these terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, available at https://www.facebook.com/terms.php/

• By taking part in the competition, the participant accepts that if he/she wins, he/she will take photos when it is redeemed and these photos will be  published on the Dachstein West Facebook www.facebook.com/dachsteinwest and Instagram www.instagram.com/dachsteinwest fan page .

2. Participation

• The participant declares that he or she has reached the age of 18.

• Employees of ARGE DW, affiliated companies and agencies and their relatives are excluded from participation.

3. Competition

• For valid participation in the competition, the participant must follow the ARGE DW Facebook/Instagram page.  

• Participation in the competition requires agreement to these conditions of participation, whereby the participant accepts them completely and unconditionally and undertakes to comply with them.

• No liability will be accepted for entries not delivered or delayed or damaged for technical reasons.

4. Determination of the winner

• The winner will be determined in a non-public drawing after the closing date for entries.

• If the winner is not available and contacts us via Facebook/Instagram Messenger within 3 days, an alternative winner will be selected and the claim for the first winner will expire from this point onwards.

• The winner will be notified via Facebook/Instagram message and comment.

5. Prices 

• The prize can be redeemed in the winter season in the Dachstein West ski region (Gosau, Russbach, Annaberg). Legal recourse is excluded.

• A cash redemption, exchange for another prize or a transfer of the prize to a third party is not possible. 

• ARGE DW reserves the right to withdraw, amend or temporarily suspend the competition at its own discretion, provided that this right is not exercised unreasonably.

6. Data protection

• By participating in the competition, the participant agrees that ARGE DW collects, stores and uses his/her personal data for the purposes of conducting the competition and processing the prize (shipping the prize). 

• All data will be deleted no later than 30 days after the end of the competition. The data will not be shared with third parties.

• The winner grants his/her express permission for ARGE DW to publish him/her as the winner of the competition on Facebook/Instagram, stating his/her first name and last name.

In accordance with legal regulations, every participant has the right to access his/her data and the right to have it corrected, blocked or deleted.  To exercise these rights, you can send an email to info@dachstein.at . By revoking their consent, the participant withdraws from taking part in the competition.
