Our ski resort was recently honoured as one of the most popular SnowTrex ski resorts!

But how does a ski resort actually get this award?

Snowtrex asks its customers about their satisfaction with the ski resort. The rating is divided into six levels - from very satisfied to not at all satisfied.

The top destinations are then selected based on the best ratings from these customers.

Hiking season 2026

The time has finally come again!
The Gosaukammbahn is the first of the three summer mountain lifts in Dachstein West to start operating. It takes hikers, mountain enthusiasts, ambitious athletes and leisurely walkers up to the Zwieselalm every day from 08:15.

Please inform yourself about the current weather conditions, the open huts and our offer before your hiking trip.

New construction of the 6SB Angeralm and 6 SB Aussichtsberg chairlifts

The ground-breaking ceremony for two new 6-seater chairlifts took place in Dachstein West last week - a milestone for the further development of the region.

With an investment of 22 million euros, modern lift facilities including a technical centre will be built by the 2025/26 winter season, connecting Gosau (Upper Austria) and Annaberg (Salzburg) even more comfortably. The new lifts will be of the highest standard with weather protection bonnets, heated seats and mechanical locking.
