International ski racers in Dachstein West

As in the last ski winter, we were once again the setting for training runs by international ski stars this year.

At the turn of the year, the renowned Norwegian and Swedish ski stars Henrik Kristoffersen, Timon Haugan and Fabian Ax Swartz and their team from Van Deer Red Bull Sports came to Annaberg for a training session to prepare intensively for the slalom.

First and foremost ski star Henrik Kristoffersen, who is known for his impressive slalom and giant slalom skills and already paid us a visit last winter. Henrik Kristoffersen is not only known for his sporting successes, but also for his dedication to ski racing. His presence and precision on the piste were also clearly noticeable during the training sessions and made a big impression on us.

Another racer from the Norwegian team, Timon Haugan, has taken advantage of the top training conditions here in Dachstein West. The giant slalom and slalom specialist has already taken part in two world championships and won the bronze medal with his team at the Olympic Games in Beijing. We got to know the Norwegian as an extremely focussed and very likeable top athlete.

The 19-year-old Swedish slalom racer Fabian Ax Swartz is the latest addition to the VanDeer Red Bull Sports family and is regarded as an up-and-coming talent. His already impressive results in the European Cup and at the Junior World Championships speak for themselves and promise us and him much more to come. We will definitely be following his further progress with great interest.

Dear Henrik, dear Timon, dear Fabian!

We look forward to preparing a training slope for you again next time and wish you all the best and continued success for the upcoming races and the rest of the ski season!
