Gondola comfortably to the Zwieselalm
Use the cable car as the ideal entry point to the Dachstein West hiking region and enjoy the fantastic view of the Dachstein Glacier, Gosausee and Gosaukamm during the comfortable ascent. The Gosaukamm cable car takes you from the Gosausee to Zwieselalm in just 4 minutes, the perfect starting point for leisurely walks, hikes or extended mountain tours.

Tip: There is a large free car park right next to the valley station of the 'Gosaukammbahn' and the bus stop is right in front of the main entrance to the valley station.

Rent hiking equipment

At the Gosau Tourist Office you can borrow hiking equipment free of charge. From hiking backpacks to rain jackets and hiking boots, at the Best of Wandern test centre in Gosau am Dachstein you can try out hiking equipment for free.

Just drop by and try it out!

Tip:
For families with small children, free off-road rental pushchairs are available for a hike on the Zwieselalm.

So you can also explore the wonderful alpine pasture area on the Zwieselalm with your little ones.

Donnerkogel via ferrata

Ready for an adventure? On the Intersport via ferrata Donnerkogel in the Dachstein West hiking region, enthusiastic mountain adventurers experience climbing fun at the highest level.

You climb up the airy ridge on the Donnerkogel in four stages on the Via Ferrata using steel ropes and stepping pins. The ultimate adrenaline kick awaits you on the 40-metre-long sky ladder, the highlight of every climbing tour.
