The Dachstein West hiking region offers hikes for all levels of difficulty, relaxation for nature lovers, adventure for families, challenging tours for mountain enthusiasts and rustic hut magic.

More than 300 marked hiking trails lead past sparkling lakes, through untouched forests, across green alpine meadows to mysterious high moors, up to rugged rocky terrain or even to the eternal ice of the glaciers - naturally in Salzkammergut.

There is much to experience and discover here: rare flowers, aromatic (medicinal) herbs and shy mountain animals.
