Discounts for people with disabilities

On this page, you’ll find all the information about ticket discounts for people with disabilities, children, and registered companions at Dachstein West.

Please bring your ID card to the ticket office so we can apply the discount on the spot.

The regulations listed above apply to the Dachstein West ski and hiking area starting with the 2026/27 winter season.

Children with disabilities:

Children with disabilities receive their ticket free of charge (0.00 EUR)

  • Requirement: valid disability ID card

  • Age limits: as per the mountain railways’ general children’s policy

  • Proof: Present your disability ID card at the ticket window

Adults with disabilities

Adults with disabilities are eligible for the reduced adult rate.

  • Requirement: Degree of disability of 70% or higher

  • Rate: Reduced adult rate as listed in the current price list

  • Proof: Disability ID card showing the degree of disability

Registered Companions of People with Disabilities

Registered companions are also eligible for the reduced adult rate.

  • Requirement: Listed as a companion on the disability ID card

  • Rate: Reduced adult rate

  • Proof: The person with a disability’s ID card, which lists the companion
